Tri-Agency Scholarship Workshop

Please join us for our Tri-Agency Scholarship Workshop, designed to support graduate students, particularly master’s students, in preparing strong and successful scholarship applications. This workshop will provide practical guidance on developing a compelling application, along with an opportunity to hear from students who have successfully navigated the scholarship application process. This workshop aims to help master's students before the internal UBC application deadline in December 2026.

Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in peer-to-peer discussion and feedback, allowing them to exchange ideas, ask questions, and receive constructive feedback on their scholarship applications.

Tentative Agenda*

  • Welcome and introductions
  • How to craft a compelling scholarship application with Dr. Xuan Zhang 
  • Students share their experiences and insights on preparing successful scholarship applications
  • An opportunity to discuss application ideas and receive feedback from fellow graduate students
